Nutrition is a passion of mine.  I’ve had in interest in organic and old fashioned home cooked meals for over 20 years. I understand the relationship between good health and properly prepared, nutrient dense whole foods.
In May 2009 I became certified as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner by the Nutritional Therapy Association.

Additional training includes:

Functional Blood Chemistry Analysis
An inexpensive way to identify “functional”range biomarker patterns and to correct them before they fall into “pathological” ranges of disease.

Functional Endocrinology
Mainstream healthcare typically treats only the hormone that is out of “pathological” lab range.  Hormones don’t work individually; rather they rely on other hormones and glands for balance.  Functional Endocrinology looks at the whole, rather than just the part.

I enjoy teaching others about nutrition and how it can dramatically improve one’s health.  In January 2011 I started a monthly HealthTalk mini-seminar on the Endocrine System at the Medford Library.  Topics have included Hypothyroid (and Hashimoto’s Autoimmune Disease), Adrenal Fatigue, Balancing Female Hormones, Living Gluten Free and Insulin Resistance.
I also give presentations to local community service groups.

As a Nutritional Therapist, I give each client an individualized, comprehensive private consultation.  I will partner with you to find health solutions – based on your personal health issues.
